BFP 10 Brass faced Perfect 4 1/4" Wide drum. Straight line, enclosed oval and rod in hand logos. c 1895 with unusual alloy foot and waisted pillars. 2 stress hairlines to back rim, but it has survived all the same as many alloy feet broke off during the early alloy years while Hardy got the mix right. A rare example engraved C.C.B.,with maker's fitted block leather D case. Ex graham Turner collection. £1100
