When you can no longer look to a bull market to invest your money with confidence, perhaps it's time to think about investing some of it in fishing tackle.
Its a joy to own and may well bring back memories of early less fraught times, and unlike a share certificate, it has practical and aesthetic appeal. A pleasure to use too - beat the breeze with a bit of history!
With rates for savings so low, there's a fair chance your investment will have appreciated if you need to sell it, and if you don't, it'll be a pleasure to rattle your tackle, maybe take it for a spin on a sunny day, admire the superb workmanship on a gloomy winter's evening, and perhaps like many you'll add to your collection ....and eventually hand it down to the next lucky custodian of a lovely piece hand made British crafsmanship which reflects the sporting heritage of days gone by!
